Timothy L. Main

President & Chief Executive Officer

Timothy L. Main has more than 20 years experience at Jabil and has served as Chief Executive Officer since September 2000, as President since January 1999 and as a director since October 1999. Main is responsible for Jabil’s strategy, growth and development. Since his appointment to CEO, Main has grown Jabil to more than 75,000 employees in more than 55 facilities in 20 countries. He joined Jabil in April 1987 as a Production Control Manager and was quickly promoted to Operations Manager in September 1987. He was subsequently promoted to Project Manager in July 1989, to Vice President, Business Development in May 1991, and to Senior Vice President, Business Development in August 1996. Prior to joining Jabil, Main was a commercial lending officer, international division for the National Bank of Detroit. Main earned a B.S. from Michigan State University and an MIM from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird).
